October 2022 Update
The Bargaining team was hard at work over the first three months of school. We met with the District bargaining team several times. After two weeks of ramped up organizing, we reached a tentative agreement on September 28th, 2022. The TA overwhelmingly passed and our raise should be reflected in our December 1 paycheck. We will take a short break before surveying our members in early November. By late November, we will sunshine our reopener proposal to the District. This will put us on track to start bargaining our 2023-24 reopener articles in January of 2023. Thank you to our organizing team and all of our members that participated in the organizing events over the two weeks prior to settling our contract. Your participation and support made all the difference.
